“Our building will be closed to the public. Food will be distributed outside in our ‘drive-thru.’ Clients will stay in their vehicles and will be assisted by a volunteer outside. Donations will be handled in the same manner. Food, hygiene, and monetary donations are the only donations accepted at this time. No clothing or household donations. Food donations can also be left at the Dallas Police Department, please let them know that it is for Dallas Christian Ministry.”

Christian Fellowship Assembly will be giving out free hot meals weekly on Thursday 2pm. Meals are sponsored by K and W Cafeteria.

“This food pantry is part of the Mount Zion Restoration Church where Rodney Freeman is the pastor. We provide perishable as well as non-perishable food items. We are in partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank in Charlotte North Carolina as well as Food Lion. You do not need any documentation to obtain groceries during this crisis.”

Grab and Go – Gaston County Schools

Gaston County Schools is providing “grab and go” meals for students.  The service offers a nutritious meal for children while schools are closed because of concerns related to the coronavirus. See the below link for further information.

Monday-Friday, we are picking up meals for about 50 families in South Gastonia, that is 180 breakfasts and 180 Lunches total 360 meals delivered. We have at least 5 volunteers daily. We are picking up meals at Huss and then delivering them safely from our church bus.

We are a host site for BWFP meals for HH Beam, Hunter Huss and Webb Street school. Pick up will be April 2 and April 30 from our Family Life Center.
